SDC have appointed Prism Architectural as the specialist glazing Sub-Contractor to provide the façade to Units 26 and 27 of the Cambridge Science Park.
The façade which incorporates Wicona stick curtain walling glazed with Pilkington’s high performance double glazed units, entrance screen incorporating automatic doors, specially extruded external aluminium fins, internal fire rated curtain walling and aluminium metalwork.
Prism Architectural Limited are now Schuco Approved Blast/Bullet Resistance Experts and can supply Clients/Customers with Schuco Blast and Bullet Resistance facades, windows and doors (SABRE:- Schuco Approved Blast/Bullet Resistance Experts).

Prism have recently completed the glazing works to the Cedar Suite at the Grove Hotel, Watford where the British Masters 2016 will be held.
Prism successfully designed, supplied and installed structurally curved channel glazing to the Cedar Suite which incorporates external rotating glass fins. Prism also supplied and installed sliding doors manufactured from the new Schuco Panoramic system – ASS77.PD.
The fins were bespoke with foliage encased within.
Our Company Secretary, Julie Price, ran a successful Great North Run on the 11th September 2016.
From 58,000 runners, Julie finished an admirable 7,194 with a time of 1 hour 53 minutes!
Julie ran to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of her brother Simon who sadly lost his battle to Kidney Cancer in May this year. To date, Julie has raised an incredible amount of over £3,000.
