Architects Journal Award for The David Attenborough Building, Cambridge

Prism are delighted to announce another Award for The David Attenborough Building (Arup) in Cambridge. The Architects Journal - AJ Specification Award for Doors & Windows.

The David Attenborough Building is an iconic Brutalist building in the centre of Cambridge, designed by Arup Associates in the 1960s and recently refurbished to create a low-energy, adaptable and efficient building which preserves its architectural integrity.

Lambeth Palace Library

Prism are delighted to announce the appointment by Knight Harwood to deliver the Lambeth Palace Library external envelop which consists of Schuco curtain walling, windows, doors and aluminium rainscreen system.

The new library building will preserve the most important religious collection outside the Vatican – the collections include more than 5,000 volumes of manuscripts and over 200,000 printed books.

The 5th Annual Schuco Excellence Awards 2018 took place at the Saatchi Gallery in London on Thursday 21st June.

The 5th Annual Schuco Excellence Awards 2018 took place at the Saatchi Gallery in London on Thursday 21st June. Entries showcased Design and Innovation and celebrate successful partnerships between Architects, Fabricators and specialist Contractors – taking schemes from early engagement via sketches through design development, fabrication, installation and handover of spectacular and challenging projects.

Twickenham Stadium - East Stand Fit Out

Prism will be returning to the Home of English Rugby – Twickenham!

We are working with Willmott Dixon Interiors on the East Stand fit out, designing and installing fire rating curtain walling and doors. Prism will once again be using our supply chain system house fabricator Schuco Jansen products and double glazed units from Pilkington’s UK.

We are delighted to be working closely with Willmott Dixon Interiors in delivering this prestigious project – work will commence later in 2018.

7-8 St Martins Place, London

Prism Architectural are pleased to continue their working relationship with Willmott Dixon Interiors on 7-8 St Martins Place, London.

This project is a refurbishment from office space into a hotel building. Prism will be supplying capped curtain walling manufactured from our supply chain partners – Schuco International. All the windows to the upper floors will be manufactured using our own thermally broken aluminium system – VP System.

Kings College, Wimbledon

We are pleased to announce the appointment by Knight Harwood to deliver the external glazing to Kings College, Wimbledon.

The project consists of circa 700m2 of Schuco FWS50 and FWS60 curtain walling to vertical glazing and rooflights. The double glazed units will be sourced from our supply chain partners – Pilkington’s UK. Integrated into the vertical glazing to the South Elevation will be brise soliel system which will aid in the control of sun entering the building.
