The redevelopment of the 1960’s former Debenhams building was the first branch of John Lewis to open in Devon & Cornwall. The original scheme was to refurbish five floors but this was later expanded to incorporate a further three floors.
Prism Architectural assisted by supplying & installing the new Curtain Walling on the project, of which, the main entrance façade featured double glazed units with ‘weave’ ceramic print artwork by artist Andrew Moore.

- A new flagship department store was being built in the center of Exeter.
- Prism used the Schuco FW60+ Curtain Walling system to support the large panes of glass which spanned floor to floor. The specialist ‘weave’ pattern to some of the glass had to be manufactured in Germany due to its large pane size and craned into position on site.
